I think that the videos are very true, however i am not scared of what can happen in the furture, cause i have no control of it. If we live in constant fear of the furtue then we as a human species are quite possibly doomed. We need to learn to take each and every single event as it comes to us, then we need to make a decision, and then move on to the next event, which is a result of the previous event and our decision. I think the best way we can prepare for beling literate in the 21st century is to do just what we are doing right now! Instead of having the conventional calss room with a marker board and desks soon we will be doing course work like I will be taking from a college next fall, through the internet. Everything will be turned in electronically and class discussions take place on forums similar to this. I do bielve this is just what we need to be transitioning to in most of our classes. I truthfully think the best way a teacher can prepare a student for the full blown effects of the 21st century is to let the student to have serious freedom in the class room as to projects the student does. As long as the student is challanged all the time and is exposed to the electronics then the teacher will be teaching the student not only for the furture, but also for the 21st century.
