Harley (In response to the Ron Paul Interview Video)

Wow! This totally made me think! As many of you know I consider myself to be a capitalist. Capitalism is an economic theory which stresses that control of the means of producing economic goods in a society should reside in the hands of those who invest the capital for production. It is a system based on the production of goods and services for exchange rather than use. Private ownership and free enterprise supposedly leads to more efficiency, lower prices, better products. Some questions I had in regard to the video were:
**Would having a smaller government make globalism or protectionism the better capitalistic choice in the long run?**
**If the federal reserve was ended, would it make the American dollar worth more? Thus making the capitalists in our society more money because products would be worth more?**
**Who or what was the Halliburton's? And what's the link to Ron Paul's book?**
Interesting things I hadn't considered. I didn't even know there was such a word as corporatism. Corporatism is the political system in which power is exercised through large organizations (businesses, trade unions, etc) working in concert with each other, under the direction of the state.
