    republican. that was what our fore fathers wanted. "and to the REPUBLIC, for which it stands..." i think that that is the only way to go, the way our presidents wanted it.KK

    KK you do have a good point. But who says our fore fathers were republicans. They could have been democrats. The pledge of allegeiance was written in 1892 therefore I belive the fore fathers couldnt have written it. To end this I say I am neatural.-RRNRD

    RRNRD, I like the way you are thinking, but, I think, she is talking about a republican form of government not the Republican party. Also, KK, some of the Presidents (Jefferson especially) wanted more of a democracy than a republic. In addition, why is our government the best model? -QE

    OH! I thought that you meant in America! Ok. Well in that case, America isn't the best. We aren't really free. We're free, but we really aren't. Ya know? Our economy and jobs aren’t that good and don’t really pay that well, so it’s sometimes kinda like being a slave. I don’t know right now what I think right now, I’m really tired. I’ll need to think about it.KK
