- We are a diverse group making up a Social Studies Inquiry Class in Colorado.
I would be angry too if I needed to pay that much for health care! And I don't think that you would need to pay that much unless you were paying for a whole city. And that elephant one. Is the elephant dumb or something?KK
ReplyDeleteKK- couple things. I agree that most certianly it is crazy to pay that much for health care for our government, but what that cartoon is getting at is that eventhough the speaker of the house says one price, it is going to in acctuallity going to be much higher. The elephant cartoon is reperesenting how the repbulican party is excited because they did well in two states this year for the elections. It is making fun of how little progress that is. if you look at the cartoon it is acctually a "monopoly game that the elephant is playing."
