health care

Just a question, whoever voted NO on the health care pole, why shouldn't we? We, normal people, be able to have an opinion on something that efects us? The people who do have an opinion are rich so they don't know what it is like for us, but we do, so we should have an opinion.KK

  1. Hey Kool Kat. So, Just to clarify, the public option would allow some people (about 5% of the country according to the Cogressional Budget Officer) to chose a government ran health insurance. The House Bill 3962, which passed Saturady night by five votes, would allow people who make less than 150% over the federal poverty line to qualify for the public option. Which would basically mean if a family of four makes less than $33,000 per year, they could chose government ran health insurance. Some people worry this would cost too much in tax dollars, and other people argue that this is a human right for poor people to be able have health insurance. Good question, though.-QE
