Harley (Thesis Rewrites)
So I'm still not sure where to go with this project. As many of your probably know I'm doing Organized Crime for my innovation for History Day. My original conclusion for a thesis was "The All-American outlaw was society's response to an unreasonable amendment set forth by the Prohibition Movement," but recently I've come into contact with a woman who works for the prison who is offering me police reports and statistics about current gang (a form of organized crime) activity. I'm not nearly as interested in criminal behavior currently than I am about criminal behavior back in the 1920's where it all kind of got it's roots. However, though I don't find that nearly as interesting I don't really want to lose all the opportunity she's giving me for primary resources and I also thinking bringing it to modern terms will make organized crime feel more important. I would like some feedback on this to see what you guys think. It seems like last year I just chose a topic that I liked and it didn't go over too well because there was really no lasting influence (nothing to tie my subject to current times) so maybe I should include some parts that I don't particularly care about/like and maybe my overall project will be better? I just don't know.

I would use her. It will help with modern connections to this innovation.
